Customer Spotlight: Farmers Insurance
Insurance agents offer protection from many of life’s hazards, providing true peace of mind every step of the way. While serving as a trusted pillar of the community, they strive to make personal connections and get their name out there. That way, they can help as many people as possible protect all the things that are most important to them.
To achieve that goal, agents attend a lot of community events. But if wires get crossed, they could end up getting double booked from time to time. And that’s exactly what happened recently to Danielle Stack, a Farmers Insurance agent and owner in Clarksville, Tennessee.
With a little bit of problem solving, she ended up at both events — in a roundabout sort of way — and couldn’t have done it without help from Cardboard Cutout Standees. Here’s her story.

Why did you purchase our cardboard cutouts?
“I do a lot of events and things locally. I had two events that I had to be at on the same night, [so] I purchased a cutout of myself to attend one of the engagements – an Open House for Clarksville Networking event! It was a business like expo, but I had to be at church as well.
While everyone walked around the [Open House for Clarksville] networking event, I set up a small booth and people took photos with my cutout. Then, I gave a gift card for people to tag me in a social media post. Not surprisingly, it was a huge success that continues to pay off to this day.”

How did your customers respond to your cutout?
“It went great! People thought it was a lot of fun. And they say she looks just like me, but she really does have a personality all her own. We even named her ‘Standee’ to let her soak in all the attention, which she loves, of course.”

Do you plan on letting Standee shine in any different, interesting ways in the future?
“Definitely. In fact, I’ve already started. I recently took her to the Chiropractor with me and she got adjusted. The pictures took my Facebook and Instagram by storm.
She has also gone on small business support drives with me since COVID-19 hit. Plus, we went to some of our clients’ restaurants to pick up pizza and drive-through coffee.
Next, she is supposed to get a facial with me and get her hair done. She really is fun!”

Grab Attention with Cardboard Cutout Standees
Being in two places at one time is a tall order, but Danielle managed to pull it off. All it took was a life-sized cardboard cutout of herself, a strong social media presence, and a whole lot of heart. With her cutout under her arm, she tackled the unthinkable and pulled it off in a big way.
Her realistic “Standee” made a big impression, even gaining celebrity status all her own. Now everyone looks for Standee at community events, hoping to get their picture with her and post it on Danielle’s Facebook and Instagram channels.
